Meet Joanne

I was born and raised in California. My hearts desire is to live in the South where there are porches and sweet tea, but the Lord has put me here for now. My Christian walk is often times a rocky road of thrills and spills. Thankfully there is a whole lot of God’s grace and joy mixed in. The scripture, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Rev. 21:5 is a verse that God has made real in my life. He has brought me out of the miry muck and planted my feet on dry ground. A lifetime of thank you’s just doesn’t seem to be enough to show Him my gratitude.

I am a part time police dispatcher and full-time wife and homemaker to my husband Paul and our four children, ages seven, nine, thirteen and sixteen. It’s a tie score in our home, two daughters and two sons.

You will not find a spotless floor in my house, or a kitchen table that your elbows won’t stick to and I would probably ask you to use our bathroom at your own risk. What you will find is a woman who loves the Lord with all of her heart and who desires to fulfill everything that He has for her life.

I am a woman who loves writing, reading, and encouraging Christian women to love God’s word and to understand that they can’t dream dreams big enough for what God has planned for their lives.

As I continue to reach up for His hand, I plan on reaching out and grabbing yours along the way too.
