CAN I GET AN AMEN?

In our church, if God has done something wonderful and miraculous for you or someone you know, we usually stand and testify of the Goodness of God.  The testimony will always be followed by several “amen’s”, and even some handclaps of praise.

Well, do I have a testimony for you!

When a person reaches the age of 50 years old, every five years they are supposed to schedule an endoscope and a colonoscopy (panandoscopy), to be sure that there is nothing wrong going on in their upper or lower digestive systems.

Every time my husband (my Shug) had undergone this procedure in the past, he always had several pre-cancerous polyps that had to be removed. Thanks be to God none had gotten to the cancer stage.

Yesterday he was scheduled for another of these procedures and he had been having some trouble, I had been praying because I really was concerned.

Now to get prepped for the endoscopy test is not too hard on the body; b-u-t, the colonoscopy as everyone that has had one knows is really, really yucky.  I mean I had rather step on my lips than drink the prep solution called for the night before the test. I would almost rather have my lips sewed together with a very dull needle than drink the awful prep solution.

Shug drank the prep like a real trooper, but was up most of the night dealing with the effects.

Yesterday morning we went to the hospital for the tests and while he is in the procedure room, I am praying that there will be nothing wrong at all. After about one and a half hours, the nurse wheeled him back into the room. I asked to speak with the Doctor that did his procedure.  The nurse informed me that because the Doctor had to come from Panama City, FL, that when nothing is found suspicious or wrong in the procedure, he just gives the nurse some drawings and notes about what he observed and saw during the tests.  The nurse explained this all to me.

Thank you Jesus did my joy go up and through the roof.  The only things wrong were everything that a man his age has, a little gastric trouble and some diverticuli, no infection at all. I started saying “Praise God, Praise God”.

Dear Readers God is so good and He Will answer our prayers.  CAN I GET AN AMEN?

Gods’ Love and Blessings to you, love Gloria.
