The Beauty of God’s Creation
Have you ever been overwhelmed by a beautiful view? Maybe you’ve had the opportunity to see the Grand Canyon or Yosemite National Park.
For me, the sight of the ocean overwhelms me. I see the tide come in and go out. I watch the surf that breaks on the shore. It is continuous. It rolls in and goes out.
There have been times when I sat outside and watched the stars in the sky. Rare moments of shooting stars amaze me.
A bright rainbow of many colors is so beautiful after a downpour of rain. I’m reminded of God’s promise in Genesis.
It’s hard for me to imagine what it will be like to see the redeemed earth. When God makes all things new.
“And He who was seated on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new. Also, He said, ‘Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” Revelation 21:5 (ESV)
I enjoy the beauty of God’s creation. But I look forward to the day when there is:
- No pollution
- No graffiti
- No smog
- No SIN
Do you long for that day?
As I take a moment to sit in my garden, I listen to the sounds of the chirping birds. I smell the aromas of blooming flowers. I enjoy the quietness before most of my neighbors awaken.
Will you take a moment to thank God for the beauty of His creation? Will you take the time to enjoy it?

Sometimes I just sit in quiet of the morning (I guess that is why I like to get up early) and enjoy the beauty around me. Thank you for the reminder to enjoy the beauty of His creation.
