On being fair
(A little late–for some reason forgot to write today’s on the calendar. )
Today my 8 year old complained to me that “life isn’t fair.”
How do you answer that? Life should be fair and it isn’t.
16“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[b] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16-17
Oh yeah. If life were fair we would each have to die for our sins. If life were fair Christ would have lived since He was sinless. If life were fair we, each and everyone of us, would go to hell.
Praise the Lord that life is NOT fair and God is GOOD.

Yes, life isn’t fair> However it is what we make of it I suppose.

Excellent post. Something we need to bear in mind. Ran into a cashier last week who replied when I asked how he was doing, “better than I deserve!” 🙂
