Do I glow?
Have you ever been to a “Balloon Glow?”
It is a beautiful display of hot air balloons and when dusk hits, they all light up the sky. You can see the balloons for miles around. And, no matter how dark it is, the illuminated balloons are radiant…..their glow bringing “oohs and aahs” from everyone around.
As a Christian, I so want to be like an illuminated balloon! In fact, Jesus talks about how we should shine to the world around us.
“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16
I want to be a light shining for Jesus. In everything I do, both in word and deed, may I always bring Him honor and praise! Jesus, may YOUR Light shine through me, blessing everyone You put in my path today.
