The God who IS
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” Says the Lord,
“who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Revelations 1:8
We are living in the “is” of our Lord’s presence; the time between what was and what will come. He’s the God who “is,” the One we need today. I’m glad He’s not just the God of the past or the One yet to come; but the God of now…He is!
He’s still all He was before – steadfast and unchanging; from the beginning, and all He will be in the end. His presence brings with it the power that parted the Red Sea for Moses, and the love and grace that led Jesus to the cross. He promised to be with us always and come back for us in the future. The God who is, who was, and who is to come, the Almighty!
