Heart Thoughts
I thought in my heart…
Ecc. 3:17
Our hearts have thoughts. Have you ever considered this?
The very center of our being, our emotions, and the place where love and compassion reside…that place has thoughts. It is a place for the tender things, the protected things; our hopes, dreams, and desires. We store such things there and ponder them as Mary did.
But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19
– Safely tucked away.
We can keep these things hidden there, where no eye can see, no thief can steal, and where no man can judge – as we ponder them. The secret places of the heart are fully known only by God. He searches us and knows our hearts. He also reveals to us anything that is not good there – those things not worthy of pondering.
He knows our inner most longings and they are important to Him. Important enough to give us a place to store them, safe within. He hears our heart thoughts and longs to meet us there within every hope, every dream and desire; to be the fulfillment of each one. Until our hearts beat with His, long for the things He longs for, and break over the things that break His. He wants to be our heart’s delight.

Oh yes, it’s all about our heart relationship with Jesus. Beautiful thoughts on this and I loved reading it this morning. Outward actions follow a heart relationship. But it starts in the heart and mine is overflowing.
