KEEP YOUR RIVER FLOWING
“…IF ANY MAN THRIST, LET HIM COME UNTO ME AND DRINK. HE THAT BELIEVETH ON ME, AS THE SCRIPTURE HATH SAID, OUT OF HIS BELLY SHALL FLOW RIVERS OF LIVING WATER” JOHN 7: 37(b), 38 KJV
This is a promise from Jesus Christ, if we believe in Him as our Lord and Savior, we can receive the Gift of The Holy Spirit and He will flow out of our bellies as living water.
Just imagine this, see in your mind a freely flowing river of water, crystal clear, cool and Alive. This is how the Holy Spirit lives and flows in us. We can feel His presence gushing upward from our bellies and into our mouth as we open our mouth, and begin to praise, and worship our Lord Jesus. We can feel; the Living Water, flowing through our veins, our muscles, our nerves our whole body; we are ALIVE with the power of God.
Just as a river or channel in the ground gets dead tree limbs and trash filling it up and cannot flow properly; our relationship with the Holy Spirit can become clogged with the problems of life if we do not keep in constant communication with The Holy Spirit. This constant communication is the only way to keep God’s Living Water clear and free flowing into our lives and His Living Water constantly flowing into our spirit.
I find that several times a day I must commit every part of myself, my mind, my heart, my whole body, to be free from every thought that takes my mind off Jesus Christ.
By letting go of a problem and committing it to God’s great Wisdom, by prayer and realizing that He knows what is best for my life, and just plain trusting in His Will for the problem we can let our River flow clean and clear.
Dear Reader you know when your River is flowing, your whole body is ALIVE, ALIVE with the Power of God.
Dear Reader, if you do not know Jesus Christ as your Savior please ask Him into your heart now and let Him be the Leader of your life, HE IS COMING BACK FOR THOSE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR HIM VERY, VERY SOON, Love Gloria
