Let’s show them Jesus
I love Christmas. I enjoy the decorations, the music, the gift giving and the delicious treats. I am thrilled when I hear “Joy to the World” and other Christmas music being played over the loud speaker in the store. Even though I know Christmas is the celebration of the birth/incarnation of Jesus many people don’t. May I suggest that as followers of Jesus we should be the most excited, expectant people instead of pointing to how the world is celebrating Christmas wrong, let’s show how believers celebrate. Let’s show people “Jesus.” To be honest, I don’t know what that looks like in your life but I know if you ask our Heavenly Father he will show you.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6
Thank you for the reminder to show His love to the world.
Christmas is a beautiful time of year, it is an open invitation to share the love of Christ with others that may not know of Him. We should share it every day but Christmas time people are more open to it. May we not forget about Jesus this Christmas, in all that we do! ((blessings))
