Shout for joy!

Have you ever been so overwhelmed with God’s grace and love that you felt like skipping?

Does He take your breath away when you think of how He’s blessed you?

It’s exhilarating isn’t it?

The joy that God gives me makes me want to shout for joy! He inspires me to perform random acts of kindness. He makes me smile for no apparent reason as I find myself stuck in traffic or a long line. He makes me giggle with silliness because I am overflowing with His love and kindness. He makes me want to fall on the floor with thanksgiving because He has taken me in when I deserved nothing.

God is GOOD and the exuberant joy that comes from worshipping Him can’t be bought in a store or on TV or via the Internet; it is free to those that trust and believe in Him.

I love God and I wanted you to know!

Psalm 100

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.

Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.

For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.

    Oh, yes, He does!!!! I too break out into a huge grin because I think of His love and mercy. Especially when I drive and have some great music playing 🙂

    Your joy just spills out of the computer Terri!!! Joy is a wonderful gift from God. There was a time in my life I thought there could never be joy in our home again. I was wrong. Even though the circumstances have not changed, there is joy. I can’t explain it. It is His gift to us – even in times of trial.
    A wonderful, uplifting devotional!

    Terri, so glad that God make you shout for joy whatever you meet in your life. Because I could not open your blog any more for about one month. So just come here to “meet” you.
    How about your adoption going on? Anything smoothly? God will lead you..
