‘TIS THE SEASON TO BE THANKFUL
“Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.” Ephesians 5:19,20,21 KJV
When I typed the title, I immediately thought; but so are all seasons, days, minutes and all of the time, let us be thankful.
When I fell and had the brain hemorrhage last summer, the Neurosurgeon explained to me that any brain tissue that blood had gotten to, that memory would be gone; in other words I would not remember what was there.
I never for one nano-second forgot who God my Father, the Great I AM, Jesus Christ, The Word, my Savior, my Healer, nor the Holy Spirit my moment to moment leader was and is.
Also, I never forgot my precious “Shug” who has taken care of me with such love and devotion for almost 47 years, and also my children.
I still may call my big toe a can or something equally silly but I am getting better.
I am still listening for the trump to sound; looking for Jesus to break the Eastern Sky any minute now and I have an even more longing to go home and be with Jesus forever.
I have very many loved ones and friends who are suffering; and we all are looking for Him to come and take us home.
I know this post may sound kind of maudlin and down in the dumps, but I am not down I am UP AND READY TO RISE.
Beloved, always believe and hang on to your faith in Jesus Christ who will save and will heal you, Hallelujah!!
