Why Not Christ?
“Why not Christ?” I often wonder when I hear about senseless acts of violence in the world today.
“I wonder if he/she knew Jesus as Lord?” goes through my mind anytime I hear of someone dying. The reason is because it seems at times that many in our world today don’t realize they are lost and in need of a savior.
It all seem so obvious the choice between good and bad, right and wrong, heaven and hell… yet it’s a choice that many people struggle to make. But really what does this world have to offer that stands out more than what our heavenly father offers?
Acts 17:28 states
‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’
Outside of Christ we have nothing. He is the reason for our very existence. He is the one behind everything that has gone right in our lives and he’s the one who has held us and helped us to keep it together when things have gone wrong. God loves you, me us… He wants you to give your heart to Him.
1 As God’s partners, we beg you not to accept this marvelous gift of God’s kindness and then ignore it. 2 For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation

Think about it… why not Christ? It’s an obvious choice, one that will change your whole life. Won’t you make it today?
Heavenly Father, I pray for those who oftens top by this blog for encouragement but haven’t yet made you their choice. I pray that your Holy Spirit would speak to them today and that they will ask you to forgive them of their sins and come into their hearts in Jesus name, Amen.
