What Do Women and Zebra Butts Have in Common?

At the Free To Be Me Bloggers’ Retreat this weekend, I felt free alright. Within the first five minutes of a talk on writing basics, I shared that I take creative pictures.

Including pictures of a zebra butt.

Oops. Too much information.

You’d have to know what I was thinking to understand. How do you explain, “I take pictures of zebra butts.”?

Let me try.

For most women, butts are an issue, aren’t they? Well if you’re a zebra, you have nothing to worry about. Your butt is like no other. Better than a designer pair of jeans. Custom colored with unique stripes. Completely covered in fashionable fur.

How could I not snap a picture of the most amazing hind end I’ve ever seen. I had to frame the moment. God’s hand is all over this wild animal’s design. Agree?
I love the creativity of our God.

This is where you and I come in. We need to stop focusing our rear views and what we don’t like about ourselves and start focusing on truth. Our beautiful, unique design. We can remember something about ourselves when we see a zebra butt. Repeat after me:

“God’s creative hand made me.
I am like no other. Created on purpose with a unique and beautiful design in mind.
I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
No buts about it.”

Thanks for allowing me to share a lighthearted post with you today. I’m still tired from the retreat. This is all I have to give right now. Have a blessed day. Tiffany at Tea with Tiffany

You are too funny…but you made a great point. We are made in His image indeed and should not fuss about the little wrinkles that start to appear (hmmm – I mean myself)…Thank you for the fun post this morning.

Tiffany, you certainly grabbed my attention with the title of your post today. LOL. I think you’re still laughing after the blog retreat but I think that’s great. I guess I have to start looking at life from different angles.
