He Makes My Feet Dance
I will extol you, O LORD, for you have drawn me up
and have not let my foes rejoice over me.
O LORD my God, I cried to you for help,
and you have healed me.
O LORD, you have brought up my soul from Sheol;
you restored me to life from among those who go down to the pit.
(Psalm 30:1-3 ESV)
Music has always been a big part of my life. From the songs of Sesame Street, to rock, and now to worship and praise music. Once in a while I will listen to an old album by ZZ Top, but nothing gets my heart pumping like worship music.
This past Sunday, our young and energetic pastor preached on John 18:1-11. The music around the sermon reflected what Jesus has done for all of us. One of the songs we sang, was “Glory to the Lamb”. The words of the song made me weep, but at the same time made my feet dance.
“To the one whose blood redeemed us, Alleluia, Alleluia. To the Holy One called Jesus, Glory to Your name.” (Bill Batstone)
You see, Jesus gave up His place in heaven so that He can redeem us at the cross. His death has made us whole with God. Jesus wants us just the way we are; we do not have to clean up our act before we come to Him. And that my friends, makes me joyous and I want to reflect His goodness in my life.
You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
you have loosed my sackcloth
and clothed me with gladness,
that my glory may sing your praise and not be silent.
O LORD my God, I will give thanks to you forever!
(Psalm 30:11-12 ESV)
Lord of mercy and grace. Thank You for saving me. Thank You for turning my mourning into dancing. Lord, remind me of Your Holy sacrifice when I am stressed. Help me to glorify You in all I do and say. In the precious name of Jesus. Amen!

- Cleanse Me, O God!
“He Makes My Feet Dance | Laced With Grace” was indeed certainly
enjoyable and beneficial! Within the present day society that is tricky to
do. Many thanks, Theodore
