BE SENSITIVE TO THE HOLY SPIRIT

As we go about our daily routine, cleaning house, going to the grocery store, along with taking care of other errands we need to always be in a spirit of prayer for the needs of others.

There are times I have been washing dishes, making a bed or other household chores when the Holy Spirit would whisper a name to me, “Call this person and tell her that I love her, that she is always on my mind and I am able to meet her every need. The person I called is always so thankful that God put them on my heart. Almost without fail they will reply, “I have been asking God to put my name on someone’s heart to pray for me. I really need Gods’ help and comfort today.” Thank you for obeying the Holy Spirit and calling me, now I can make it through this day.

We may meet a casual passerby, just say hello and go our way, when the Holy Spirit is saying to our spirit, “STOP, and say a kindness in Jesus’ name to that person.”

I have passed people in the aisle of the grocery store and the Holy Spirit would whisper to my spirit, “Tell the lady that God loves her, that He cares for her every need and that He is able to supply that very need.”

Some times just a “God wants me to tell you that He loves you and you are very important to Him is all that is needed.” Every time without fail the person will tear up and say, “Oh, how I needed to hear those words, I am going through the worse time, or I am having a really bad day. Thank you for reminding me that God really does love me.”

When we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, not only does it lift up the person that we spoke to; but it lifts up our spirit as well.

Each and every time we obey the Holy Spirit when He speaks to our spirit we are blessed beyond measure and the Kingdom of God is blessed and lifted up also. Because someone is reminded how important they are to God. And that means everything to us.

Blessings in Jesus Name, Gloria
