FAITH – UNCONDITIONAL BELIEVING IN GOD
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 KJV
“Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.” 2 Corinthians 4:18 AMP
How many times have we read these verses and made a new commitment to God to remember that “faith in God” is just that – FAITH IN GOD.
Faith to believe, to keep on believing, even when days, weeks or even months have gone by since we originally started to believe for a certain thing that we KNEW that the Holy Spirit had promised to us.
I think that unconditional faith in believing, leads us to spend more time talking with God, just communing with Him. Sometimes not saying a word, just basking in His Presence.
Unconditional faith urges our spirit to read and dwell in His WORD more, so our minds and hearts can absorb more and more knowledge about who HE IS AND WHAT HE MEANS TO US..
Even the Old Testament heroes sometimes died without seeing their promises from God Almighty come to pass.
They died BELIEVING UNCONDITIONALLY THAT THE PROMISE GIVEN TO THEM BY GOD WOULD COME TO PASS, IN GOD’S OWN TIME.
Dear Reader, if God has given you a promise, believe in that promise with all your heart and NEVER let satan steal the promise from you.
Always remember, “Greater is He that is in you, than he that is this world.” 1 John 4:4 KJV
