GOD GAVE US THE BEAUTY OF HIS CREATION

“When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place. What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?” Psalm 8: 3,4  NIV

I love to see the sun rise in the mornings, at first just a sliver of light shining through the trees, then in a few minutes a glorious ball of fire covering the whole landscape, so bright you cannot look at it.

During the day the sun is so bright the magnificence of Gods’ creation  is breathtaking.

Late in the evening, before sun down, I call it the gloaming, the sun is beginning to set in the West and it seems to me that the whole world is settling in for the night.  Everything is slowing down, even my kittens are quiet and still, the birds sing night songs to each other, the cows  are gathering up with their calves and settling in, also the horses and their colts. I love to  just listen to the sweet peaceful sounds  around me, as nature gets ready to go to bed.

When night comes I can look into the heavens and see the stars glowing so brilliantly, my mind can’t even begin to comprehend the billions of stars that are in the night sky, but the Bible tells us that God calls each one by their name, the moon gives off its’ lovely glow.  I love to observe the phases of the moon.  The shape it takes in each phase.

The psalmist David likened the Work of God when He spoke the worlds into existence  in verse three  as THE  FINGER OF GOD, THE WORK OF A MASTER CRAFTSMAN.

Dear Reader if you have not just taken time lately to look and adore the world around you, in the morning and also at night; do so soon, it is an amazing world God has given us to live in.

Blessings Gloria
