He Already Knows
Dear God,
My mind has felt like a whirlwind recently. So many thoughts have been spinning around. It all felt so hopeless. A lot of questions were on my mind. Why is this happening? What can I do? What is the right decision? What should I even pray for?
You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
Psalms 139:16 NLT
I started feeling overwhelmed so, I opened your word. As always, your word didn’t disappoint. It brought me a measure of peace. It helped me to release the burdens and anxieties that I had been carrying. Your word reminded me that there is nothing that I’m experiencing right now that you don’t already know about. My life and all its ups and downs, twists and turns are not a surprise to you. They were all laid out in your book before I was even born.
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. 1 Peter 5:7 (NLT)
I’m thankful that You wrote my story from beginning to end. Help me to trust You more, to believe your word even when it’s hard to do so. Help me to come to you with my questions, worries and fears knowing that you will always be there for me.
I love you Lord!
Your daughter,
Bernadine
When I feel overwhelmed, uninspired or just plain out of words to write, I write letters to God. I’ve done this from I was a teenager. I hope that my simple musings to God reminds you that whatever you’re going through, He already knows, and He can lift your burdens if you let Him.

I love your letter to God. Sometimes it is easier to put our thoughts down on paper than to verbally express them. I might write God a letter about some things heavy on my heart today. ??
Thank you, Laurie. I think it writing a letter to God would be a great way to release the things that are heavy on your heart. Hugs
I do this too, Bernadine. When I am overwhelmed, sad, happy, I write a letter to God. Hugs to you my sweet friend.
Thank you, Iris!?
