Seeking Him

My Prayer: Lord, I want Your Word alive in me, so much so that I am no longer ruled by the cares that surround me. I want Your Word to sink into my spirit.  I want to be filled with You and all that You give of Yourself to your children. I want to be dominated by Your personality. I want Your thoughts to permeate mine. I hunger for You and for Your peace that passes my meager understanding. I know You reward those who diligently seek after You, and I earnestly seek, long, ache to know and be one with You.

“And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.”   Hebrews 11:6

His Response to Me:

Hold fast to the faith and hope you cherish and possess.

I, who have promised, am reliable and faithful to My Word.

I will be faithful to you. The secret of the sweet, satisfying companionship of the Lord is yours.

If you live by the Holy Spirit, walk also by the Spirit; and when you call upon Me,  I will hear and answer you.

To be one with Me, to walk one single path, is to fulfill your calling and the highest aspiration of a human being.

“And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”  Jeremiah 29:13

Marsha, I LOVE that! What a great devotion this morning–and that song is on my “constant” play for the house and car. A favorite…HIM reminding me how He changes me as I draw ever closer to HIM!

Have a blessed day—thanks for sharing His awesomeness with me today! Love you!!!

Great verse and devotional. Thank you Marsha. Also, I enjoyed listening to today’s Grace Cafe as well as the one with Cindy Beall today as Caleb was back at school and I was ironing. Both were great shows.

    Hugs to you,
    Bethany
