His Transforming Word

As I read a passage of Scripture, it had a taste.  Sweet were the words:

Psalms 119:89-92 NIV

Your word, Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.  Your faithfulness continues through all generations; You established the earth, and it endures. Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you.  If Your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.

His Word is eternal…it’s like waves of the ocean, they never cease rolling.  But as HE is the Mighty One, controller of the very waves that break on the shores, they COULD in fact stop…if HE so chose.

This morning, I am blessed, even thrilled, with the knowledge that the God who made the universe cares about the tiniest detail of my life.  He gives me good judgment to know right from wrong, how to act, all according to His Word.  I have found, it won’t “jump into me”.  I must apply it.  Sort of like your daily intake of food keeps you going, so does the Word of God.

If you or I choose to leave off food for a few days, it will start showing up in our bodies, we possibly will lose some weight, but even before that happens, the side effects of going without will be noticeable.  Headache.  Nausea.  Brain processes will slow, meaning, it may take us a bit longer to think something through…

Food is necessary for every organ and inch of the body to maintain proper function.

The Word of God is the same for our lives.  It is absolutely essential for proper spiritual health.

Are you anemic?

Go to the Word of God today and allow Him to begin to TRANSFORM your life…
