Turnaround

Have you ever driven on a turnaround? Turnarounds are becoming popular in bigger towns; instead of intersections with stoplights, turnarounds allow you to drive in a circle and have easy access to 3 or 4 streets. The problem that I see with these turnarounds is that if you don’t know where you are going, you may end up just going in a circle.

I suppose you could say that life is like a turnaround.

Often times it appears that we are just circling and circling with no idea where to get off. There are many reasons why we may find ourselves needing a turnaround in our lives. Perhaps you find yourself in a difficult season right now; it could be a difficult relationship or tight finances or perhaps you just need some stress lifted and find a peaceful solution in some area of your life. Whatever you are in need of today, God has your turnaround!

The Scrpiture tells us that NOTHING is impossible for God! He can give us a breakthrough or turnaround in ANY difficult area of our life.

Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.’ ” (Mark 10:27)

There are stories just like yours all throughout the Bible where people found themselves in impossible situations. Take Sarah and Abraham, they must have felt like they were going around and around in a circle with no sign of hope or promise but THEN God saw to it that they encountered a turnaround and Sarah and Abraham experienced the impossible – they had a child very late in life.

You may not be seeking the same kind of turnaround as Sarah and Abraham, but the same God who made it possible for them is the same God who can (and will) make your turnaround possible. Stop going in circles and trust Him to show you the way to go. He will turn your doubt into hope, your troubles into joy and the impossible into possibilities!

BLESSINGS. Laurie

We have a lot of turnarounds in Germany. I don’t like them too much.
Thank you for your encouragement to trust God to turn our troubles into joy.
