WALK IN GOD’S LIGHT
So Jesus said to them, “For a little while longer the Light is among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you; he who walks in the darkness does not know where he goes. While you have the Light, believe in the Light so that you may become sons of Light.” John 12:35, 36,. (NASB)
When Jesus said these things he went away and hid himself from them.
Jesus was speaking of His death and resurrection and His return to His Heavenly Father. This had to be, so, that God the Holy Spirit, could come and live in the world to keep us in the Light of Jesus.
When the Holy Spirit gives us an insight from a moment of exalted Light straight from the Throne Room of God; given just to us it becomes a “Lighted Moment.” Write the insight down. Write the Lighted Moment down in your journal so that on the “grey” days and we all have them, we can go back and read what God has given us in our enlightened moment. We can see and remember and to rejoice in what the Holy Spirit instructed us to do in our enlightened moment.
We must never forget the instructions God has given us in our enlightened time with Him.
When the Holy Spirit has given us an enlightened thought or an errand do for God, immediately get into Gods’ Word. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you to study His Word and pray until you have a clear insight into what God is telling and showing you.
When you have studied the Word and found the scripture(s) that confirms your enlightening from the Holy Spirit, act on it; believe with unwavering faith that if God said for you to do it, it is real. We are never to plunge head first into the deepest part of the river of faith, but wade out ankle deep, then knee deep than as we are feeling Gods’ strength and guidance for us we will find ourselves going farther and farther on out in the River of faith. Knowing that all the while God is holding us up and we are to pray and rejoice in the fact that God has given us a special moment and by Faith we are acting on it.
Yes, we all will probably feel unsure, unworthy, and maybe even a little apprehensive, that the Holy Spirit has spoken so intimately to you and me, just imagine GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT SPOKE TO OUR SPIRIT THAT HE WANTS US TO DO SOMETHING FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD. HE CHOSE ME OR YOU. Every time this has happened to me I think Oh God, how can a nothing like me do something special for a Holy God like YOU. But we are God’s hands, feet and mouths in this world to spread the Good news of Salvation provided for us and for all that will accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.
God is always our source, our strength and the author and finisher of our faith. God is always COMPLETELY TRUSTWORTHY.
May God bestow His Richest Blessings on You, Gloria
